Žarko Durissiik  was born in 1981 in Serbia, in Sremska Mitrovica – the historic Roman city once known as Sirmium. Carrying a deep passion for history and heritage, his life path naturally led him toward ancient and inspiring destinations. This journey eventually brought him to Capdepera, a charming historic town dating back to the 12th century, nestled on the coast of the Spanish island of Mallorca.

Arriving in Mallorca marked the beginning of a new adventure and a profound turning point toward fine arts. Fascinated by the island’s untouched nature and Mediterranean beauty, Žarko created his first acrylic-on-canvas paintings. In that very moment, a powerful desire awoke within him to make painting his life's calling.

Today, Žarko is the proud owner of a cozy art gallery in the picturesque fishing village of Cala Rajada, right on the coast of Mallorca. In this inspiring setting, he creates new art daily, while visitors from all over the world enjoy his work, taking home authentic pieces to adorn their spaces forever.

While watching the magical island sunsets, the artist began gathering seashells from hidden beaches, inspiring him to create a line of handcrafted jewelry. These unique pieces feature real elements of nature, permanently preserved in epoxy resin.

The eternal inspiration for imaginative minds, including the artist himself, remains the beauty of women. Through a blend of diverse materials and textures, Žarko successfully brings his artistic visions to life, capturing pure emotion on canvas.
